THREE ARRESTED AFTER ROBBERY

On May 30, 2018 at approximately 2048 hours, a Maywood resident reported he was robbed by three males at his residence.  P.O. Mulawka and P.O. Patton responded and began the initial investigation.  Det. Parodi also responded to the scene to assist.  Information obtained was relayed to the New Milford Police Department, who was able to locate and place one suspect identified as Edward D. Chrystaline Jr., 20, of New Milford under arrest in connection to this incident.  The New Milford PD was also able to recover the victim’s stolen items. 

 

Mr. Chrystaline Jr. was charged by P.O. Mulawka with robbery (1st degree), conspiracy to commit robbery (1st degree), theft (3rd degree) and simple assault (DP offense).  New Milford PD also charged Mr. Chrystaline Jr. with CDS, Possession of CDS with intent to distribute within a school zone, possession of burglary tools, and receiving stolen property.

 

On May 31, 2018, Det. Parodi was able to identify the second suspect, James A. Reynoso, 20, of Tenafly and placed him under arrest for robbery (1st degree), conspiracy to commit robbery (1st degree), and theft (3rd degree).

 

On June 21, 2018, Brendan J. Lee, 20, of Cresskill was identified as the vehicle’s driver and subsequently arrested for robbery (1st degree), conspiracy to commit robbery (1st degree), and theft (3rd degree). 

 

All suspects were lodged at the Bergen County Jail.
