MAYWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT

On July 4, 2017, at approximately 12:38am, P.O. Greg Mulawka was assisting the Hackensack Police Department on a report of a party burglarizing a business on their West Passaic Street.

While checking the area, P.O. Mulawka was checking the businesses area on Maywood’s East Passaic Street when he located a bicycle in the rear of the stores. He then heard a loud door bang and a party fleeing out the front door of  “Salon 115” , 115 East Passaic Street.  After a foot pursuit, P.O. Mulawka and Sgt. Mary Tutschek were able to catch and subsequently arrested Mark Todd, 43, for burglarizing “Salon 115” and stealing approximately $100.00.

Mr. Todd was charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest by flight.  Mr. Todd was lodged in the Bergen County Jail pending his CJP court date.

Mr. Todd has also been arrested by Maywood Detectives on February 22,2017 and charged for burglarizing five Maywood Businesses on West Pleasant Avenue which occurred in September 2016.
