MAYWOOD RESIDENT ARRESTED FOR DRUG DISTRIBUTION

On September 20, 2018, the Maywood Police Department arrested Salvatore Ferriolo, 22, of Maywood for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Hash Oil with Intent to Distribute, Possession of over 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of THC Edibles and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

The Maywood Police Department received numerous complaints from concerned citizens regarding narcotics activity occurring near Ferriolo’s residence in Maywood. In response to these complaints, officers of the Maywood Police Department conducted an investigation leading to a search warrant being executed at Ferriolo’s residence on Louis Street. The search warrant yielded evidence consistent with CDS distribution.

Ferriolo was charged with several CDS related offenses and lodged in the Bergen County Jail pending his appearance at Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.

Ferriolo was also previously arrested by the Maywood Police Department on August 30, 2018 with John Martinez, 21, of Hackensack for being in possession of half a pound of marijuana and $2,537 of currency believed to be derived from criminal activity.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
