MAYWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT

On December 12, 2018, Det. William Phayre arrested Milton D. Brown, 49, of Philadelphia, PA for Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Theft. 

On October 23, 2018, the victim reported a theft from his locker at the HackensackUMC Fitness and Wellness Center on Route 17 North.  Det. Phayre investigated this incident and soon developed a suspect.  Due to Det. Phayre’s diligent investigation, Mr. Brown was identified as the suspect in this incident, along with him being a suspect in approximately five other similar incidents within New Jersey. 

 

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
